The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is preparing for the 2007 Shopping Festival. This means that shoppers will be overwhelmed by the number of special offers that will be available to choose from.
Shopping and Hong Kong go together like love and marriage. And to celebrate this, the Special Administrative Region is launching the 2007 Hong Kong Shopping Festival.
Shopping Malls in Causeway Bay, have the longest business hours in the region. And many cosmetic stores are staying late in the night,in preparation of the up-coming festival.
A Chinese mainland tourist said:"Most mainland tourists come to Hong Kong to shop for clothing, jewelry and cosmetics. I plan to use 80,000 to 100,000 yuan to buy those goods."
The 2007 Shopping Festival, is organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and it's the 6th of its kind. The annual extravaganza will take place between June 30th and August 31st.
