Special Report:   Sino-US Strategic Dialogue

The second round of the China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue will kick off in Washington on Tuesday. Senior officials from both countries will once again discuss issues affecting the long-term bilateral economic relationship.

The second round of the China-US Strategic Economic Dialogue is expected to cover a wide range of issues, including investment and transparency, energy and environment, innovation and balanced development.

Vice premier Wu Yi will head the Chinese delegation, which will include 14 cabinet-level ministers. These include Financial minister Jin Renqing and central bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan. Chairmen of Chinese securities, banking and insurance regulatory commissions will for the first time attend the dialogue.
