Special Report: 3rd Cross-Strait Forum

The third cross-Strait economic, trade and cultural forum has entered its second and final day.
KMT officials say boosting ties and promoting trade with the mainland are common aspirations for people from various sectors in Taiwan.
About 500 participants from the mainland and Taiwan are attending the two-day forum. They are exchanging ideas on issues including direct flights across the Taiwan Straits, cooperation in education and mainland citizens' travel to Taiwan.
The cross-strait forum will close Sunday afternoon.
