The remark was made by China's Ambassador to the US, Zhou Wenzhong at the annual Sino-US Policy Commission meeting.
He confirmed that frequent bilateral visits have facilitated the first ever China-US strategic and economic dialogue, which will be held in Beijing next week. Mr Zhou stressed that both countries could become even closer with the shared strategic benefits of trade.
