Fidel Ramos, former President of the Philippines, calls for these items to enable the world to achieve economic prosperity, social justice and to overcome poverty and terrorism.

Mr. Fidel V. Ramos 鈥斺chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bo'ao Forum for Asia 錛孭hilippine general and politician, the former president of the Philippines, the current Chairman of Ramos Peace and Development (RPDEV) Foundation of the Philippines.

He achieved a peace agreement with military rebels and the MNLF southern secessionists, which won for him and the Philippines the coveted 1997 UNESCO Peace Prize-- the first for Asians.
