BEIJING, Sept. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- A forum on intangible cultural heritage protection has been held at the Qinghai Provincial Museum, as part of the 2nd Qinghai International Thangka Art and Cultural Heritage Expo.
At the forum, experts and scholars discussed how to appreciate, pass down and protect the Thangka art, as well as how to protect, use and develop intangible cultural heritages in the new period.
Discussions have also been held on folk songs and the Tibetan medicines in Qinghai Province.
The three-day forum covered the topics of legend of King Gesar, folk songs in Qinghai Province, Tibetan medicines and clay sculpture.
