BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhuanet) -- The Lhasa exhibition garden will showcase the unique Tibetan-style residences during the 7th China International Garden and Flower Expo that will open in Jinan, east China‘s Shandong Province, on September 22.

The expo, China‘s highest level of its kind, is an important platform to exhibit the Chinese gardening and flower arts to the world and communicate with other countries.

Attending the expo will be major Chinese cities including Beijing, Chengdu, Nanjing, Xi‘an and Shanghai.

A worker with the Lhasa exhibition garden said that the Lhasa garden, covering an area of 1,000 sq meters, will be to the south of the Shanghai garden and to the north of the Huhhot garden.

The first floor of the Lhasa garden will be a reception room with the inside painted with Tibetan patterns. In the east there will be a 30-sq m Tibetan-style tent painted with Tibet‘s eight auspicious treasures such as trumpet shell, holy umbrella and lotus.

The Tibetan style will feature all the tables, chairs, pots, and bowls in the garden. Photos showing the contrast between the present and the past Tibet will be hung to indicate Tibet‘s leapfrog development in past years.
