Dong Jun

Dong Jun worked in China's media industry for 17 years before transferring to art business. He was radio and TV reporter, editor, translator and presenter in the country's limited English-language broadcasts including CCTV-9, with sports coverage and commenting as a special beat.

He reported as accredited journalist on a number of high-caliber sporting events, e.g. the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Asian Games, world championships and national games.

Jun is also known in China's sports industry for his experience and skills emceeing opening and closing ceremonies of international tournaments bilingually. He is now recruited by BOCOG as a language trainer for official announcers at various Olympic venues, and will emcee some beach volley matches during the games, in the capacity of a registered volunteer.
