New generation of migrant workers' New Year's dream: feeling the warmth of spring in the city
"The new generation migrant workers" are the first group of people specially dealt with in Central Document No.1. They are mainly made up of people born in 1980’s and 90’s, totaling around 100 million and accounting 60 percent of migrant workers. Behind these figures, we see the most noteworthy new force in the process of China's urbanization.

Most of them undergo the passage into adulthood in the cities and hope to become an urbanite some day, unlike the old generation of migrant workers. Among people flooding into cities after the Spring Festival, these young progressive migrant workers desire to settle down in the cities, just like college students and white-collar workers.
As Haizi once wrote a famous poem called "facing the sea in the warmth of spring," will the New Year dream of neo-generation of migrant workers be "facing the city in the warmth of spring?"
