Nikolay Nosov, a famous Soviet writer of children's literature, once said, "The best city in the world should be the children's favorite. Following Nosov's concept, the Russian Pavilion at the Expo will be transformed into an ideal city, and DUNNO, a famous fairy figure created by Nosov, will give visitors the sense of warmth, comfort and charm reminiscent of their childhood.

Above the pavilion's central square will be a movable cube, dubbed the "Cube of Civilization," which is also the pavilion's main exhibition area. There are nine cities built in the center, which are based on pictures drawn by children, representing the concept that the best city in the world should be the favorite of the children. According to sources, the "Cube of Civilization" consists of three parts: the City of Children, the City for Youth and the Big World, which carry the themes of the City of Flowers, the City of Sun and the City of Moon respectively.

12 towers show the glamour of Russian cities

The Russian Pavilion, which covers an area of 6,000 square meters, is one of the largest pavilions at the Expo. The pavilion is comprised of 12 irregularly shaped towers that are located among the natural landscape of green lawns and water, an exterior design combining tradition with modernity. According to sources, the number "12" signifies the completeness of time and life, and the red, white and golden colors represent beauty, pureness and wealth respectively. The functions that these 12 towers provide will vary based on their different shapes.

The chief representative of the Russian pavilion, V.P. Strashko, said, "Among these 12 towers, some are restaurants, while some are Russian city-like showrooms, office areas, VIP lounges and gift stores. There is also an outdoor coffee shop beside these towers. With plant-covered roof, the tree crown-shaped sunshade extends along the green lawn on which the 12 towers stand, and consequently, visitors are able to enjoy the brilliant sunshine here. An activity intended to introduce the Russian Federation will be held twice a week at two of the 12 towers, showcasing the characteristics of different regions in the Russian Federation to visitors. At the innovation tower, the Russian Pavilion will present the panorama of modern city life in Russia by showcasing its latest achievements in urban infrastructure.
