Skiing time comes earlier this year in Beijing

With snow continually falling, ski resorts in the suburbs of Beijing have brought forward their opening dates to the end of November. This means that skiing enthusiasts can enjoy the joys of skiing two weeks earlier than last year. From next week, the ski resorts will successively launch preferential activities during their trial operation period, such as free skiing, to encourage people to experience the fun of skiing.

Jundu Mountain and Nanshan ski resorts will officially open for business on November 28, while Yunfoshan ski resort will officially open on November 27.

As the temperature conditions are favorable this year, the ski resorts are able to make abundant quantities of snow. In addition, the snow already formed will not melt easily in the current cold weather, directly influencing snowmaking efficiency.

After officially opening for business, most of the ski resorts will only open the elementary and secondary pistes for skiers, while the advanced piste will open around December when the quality of the snow is better.
