Dragon boat contest in the sunshine

Several dragon boat teams strove to win the race. Yesterday, the  final of the 1st Beijing “Harmony Cup” Dragon Boat Contest  took place at Bayi Lake Dock on Kunyu River.

In scorching sun, 12 dragon boat teams completed a 500 meter race along the river, with Beijing Tianhai Dafa team winning by a narrow margin. The contest is raced by standard dragon boats certified by the Asian Dragon Boat Federation.
