By then, landscape attractions including three-dimensional parterres, chrysanthemum wreaths, overland chrysanthemum flower river, and chrysanthemum miniatures will be constructed on the grounds of the Flowers Harbor’s main gate, square, oriental cherry avenue, flower lake, rare stone garden and lover's valley.

The Flowers Harbor is the second functional group of the 7th China Flower Expo. It will mainly be used for production, research and development, experiment and demonstration as well as cultural exhibition of high-end and functional flowers. As the largest comprehensive flower industrial garden in North China, the Flowers Harbor has a total planned area of four square kilometers, the largest "garden" ever planned in Beijing.

From now on, the Flowers Harbor will organize two theme flower shows annually, with one being held in spring and the other in fall. The spring flower show will mainly focus on tulips.
