Wang Yiming |
Ink and wash painting is a genre of traditional Chinese painting done on xuan paper. It gradually became the most important style of Chinese painting in the Yuan Dynasty during the 13th century. Wang Yiming was born in 1959 in Fushun, Liaoning Province. He studied the Chinese Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1990. And now he is a very creative Landscape painter. Wang Yiming excelled at landscapes, espacially Colored Ink and Wash Landscapes. He uses a large number of wet brushes and rich, light, colored ink on relatively impermeable paper. What he achieved is a masterpiece said to be “Chinese Culture behind Colored Ink and Wash Landscapes”.
