Special Report: IPR ProtectionRecently, Commissioner of State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Tian Lipu met with the patent examination delegation of Vietnam Office of Intellectual Property (NOIP) in Beijing.
Tian Lipu expressed his welcome to the Vietnamese guests. He pointed out that the training is one of the cooperation projects between the two countries and hoped that the guests may enjoy their stay in China. Vietnam delegation expressed their appreciation and resolution to study the SIPO’s advanced experiences in patent examination.
In the training, SIPO introduced China’s patent system, substantial examination, information search and follow-up procedures, and discussed the typical cases. During their stay in China, Vietnam delegation also visited some IPR agencies and enterprises.
The training is the first try of State Intellectual Property Office for foreign-related training projects, and will play a positive role in promoting Sino-Vietnamese cooperation.
