Special Report: IPR ProtectionTo ensure the success of the Olympic Games, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce carried out inspection over market supervision work in co-host cities of the Olympic Games, i.e. Beijing, Tianjin, Qinhuangdao of Hebei province, Shanghai, Shenyang of Liaoning province, Qingdao of Shandong province.
The SAIC clearly determined that inspection would be specially exerted on illegal acts of selling goods violating the exclusive right of Olympic symbols in market.
According to the arrangement, the inspection groups would focus on wholesale market of agricultural products, free market of agricultural products and tourism commodity market around the Olympic venues.
