JAMES CHAU 鍛ㄥ緩鎴/a>
    JAMES CHAU 鍛ㄥ緩鎴/font> is the morning and lunchtime presenter of CCTV News and World Wide Watch. Since joining the station in February 2004, he has anchored major stories including the annual sessions of the National People´s Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People´s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). In addition, he has presented live studio coverage of government press conferences on issues ranging from the treatment of the bird flu virus to the protection of intellectual property rights in China.

Chau joined CCTV from Hong Kong-based Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB Pearl), where he was a reporter and anchor for the English-language channel´s news and financial bulletins.
