The company, based in Inner Mongolia, will provide quality products and service in accordance with the standards of Expo, Pan Gang, president of Yili Group, promised yesterday.
Yili also sponsored the Beijing Olympics.
Zhong Yanqun, fulltime deputy director of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai Executive Committee, said the organizer chose Yili not only because of its reliability but because of its stable operation and good public image.

Yili showed its strength as a leading domestic dairy producer in sponsoring the Beijing Olympics and the Expo organizer believes Yili will do a good job at the Expo given its experience in the Olympics, Zhong said.
In the first quarter of this year, the Yili Group's income reached 5.099 billion yuan (US$746.7 million), an increase of 8.25 percent, and made 113 million yuan in net profit, a surge of 103.59 percent.
