Special Report: 2010 Shanghai Expo CountdownAn Expo-themed celebration of Mother’s Day was organized by Shanghai Taiwanese Association yesterday. Nearly a hundred Taiwan women in Shanghai took part and signed their names on a flag with Expo logo to wish a successful Expo.

Huang Yaocheng, counselor for national participation with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination introduced the preparation progress of the Expo including the volunteer recruitment and answered questions participants raised.
Taiwanese said it would be a great honor to participate and witness this international event in person in Shanghai. They believed Shanghai will present a successful, splendid and unforgettable Expo to the world.
They also paid a visit to Expo pavilions which are under construction and took a bird’s eye view of the city from atop the Shanghai World Financial Center.
