BEIJING, March 13 (Xinhua) - The following is the biographical sketch of Jia Qinglin, who was elected chairman of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
Jia Qinglin, male, ethnic Han, native of Botou, Hebei Province, born in March 1940. Joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in December 1959 and began working in October 1962.
