2 people quarantined for flu in India

In India, two passengers have been kept under observation in hospital. The two, who arrived from Spain and the USA, have been quarantined in the isolation ward of Naidu Hospital in Pune, in India's western Maharashtra state.

A suspected swine flu patient who arrived in India from  Britain was discharged from a New Delhi hospital on  Sunday after testing negative for the virus, a health  official said.(AFP/Sam Panthaky)

A senior physician says blood samples from the patients have been sent to the National Institute of Virology for analysis. Meanwhile, in Thailand, the country's Public Health Ministry has confirmed two people have tested positive for the A/H1-N1 flu but have recovered from the virus, and will not transmit the virus to others.
