All 149 passengers who were on the same domestic flight as  the patient have now been located, and have been placed  under observation.

These people were on flight 3U-8882 from Beijing to Chengdu, before scattering across the country. The crew on the same flight have also been put in quarantine.

Speaking on Tuesday, the Chengdu City Health Department in Sichuan Province confirmed that the patient, a man surnamed Bao, is on his way to recovery. He arrived in Beijing from the United States on Saturday, on Northwest Airlines flight NW-029. Bao then flew from Beijing to Chengdu on the same day, on flight 3U-8882.

Beijing health authorities say they have managed to contact 139 of the 147 passengers on board NW-029. And they're still working to find the remaining eight passengers.
