OTTAWA, May 12 (Xinhua) -- The total confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases in Canada rose to 358 on Tuesday, with 28 new cases added during the day, according to the latest figures from the Public Health Agency of Canada on Tuesday afternoon.

The Yukon Territories reported its first case on Tuesday. Yukon Medical Health Officer Brendan Hanley said a woman who had recently returned from a trip to Mexico got the virus, but has already fully recovered.

The province of British Columbia reported four new cases, bringing the total in the province to 83. Officials said all four patients either have recovered or are recovering.

The province of Manitoba reported a serious case in which a woman in her 50s had to be hospitalized. She has other underlying medical conditions.

Other new cases were reported in Alberta (1), Saskatchewan (2), Ontario (3), Quebec (9) and Nova Scotia (7).

Up to now, 10 out of Canada's 13 provinces and territories have reported infections.

Most of the Canadian cases have been mild. There has been one death linked to the virus.
