The final tally, released late Saturday, gave the president a boost before he runs for re-election in July. His Democratic Party garnered more than 20 percent of the popular vote in the April 9th election, three times that of 2004.
Yudhoyono's party now has 148 seats in the 560-seat parliament. Without a majority, though, he will have to team up with other parties to push through economic and institutional reforms.
