Riot police responded with tear gas to anarchist groups firing petrol bombs on a central street outside Athens University on Saturday. The skirmish came as various anti-racism rallies were being held in the capital of Greece on Saturday.
The clashes occurred when anarchists broke away from one of the anti-racism rallies. Left wing groups and the anarchists were protesting over conditions for immigrants in Greece, who are often victims of racism.
