WHO: AH1N1 flu cases rise to 2500

As of 1600 GMT on Friday, 25 countries have officially reported 2,500 confirmed cases, including 46 deaths.

That's 116 more cases than the day before. The figure does not include the first death in Canada on Friday.
Meanwhile, three Japanese males have been confirmed as the country's first cases. They are a high school teacher and two students who had been on a school trip in Canada.
The three are in hospital and 49 others who arrived in Japan on the same flight have been kept apart in a facility near Tokyo's Narita airport.
