New Chinese ambassador presents credentials to Mauritian president

ANTANANARIVO, May 7 (Xinhua) – New Chinese ambassador to Mauritius, Ms. Bian Yanhua, presented her credentials to President of Mauritius Anerood Jugnauth on Thursday at the presidential palace of the Indian Ocean island country.
Ms. Bian conveyed to President Jugnauth cordial greetings from Hu Jintao, president of the People's Republic of China, during her friendly conversation with the president following the presentation ceremony.
According to a press release issued by the Chinese Embassy in Mauritius, Ms. Bian expressed her thanks to the Mauritian government for its arrangement to submit her credentials to President Jugnauth in just three days after her arrival at the island country on Tuesday.
The ambassador told the president that she is ready to cooperate sincerely with the government of Mauritius and leaders from all walks of life in an effort to further promote the friendly and cooperative relations between China and Mauritius for the benefits of the two peoples.
President Jugnauth asked the Chinese Ambassador to convey his cordial greetings and best wishes to Chinese President Hu Jintao.
