22 Nepali parties to form national government

Twenty two Nepali political parties have agreed to form a national government. Meanwhile, around 500 Unified Communist Party of Nepal supporters gathered at Ratna Park in Katmandu on Wednesday, as part of demonstrations against President Ram Baran Yadav.

A meeting of the political parties was organized on Tuesday to sort out the crisis triggered by the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, known as Prachanda.

Chairman of the Communist Party Nepal(Unified Marxist Leninist) Jhalanath Khanal said that the meeting decided to form a new national government.

He stressed the formation of working procedures and code of conduct for the new government.
