A Mexican chartered plane left Hong Kong International Airport early on Wednesday morning after picking Mexican citizens in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. However, the man confirmed to have the virus in Hong Kong remains in hospital.

The chartered plane had flown to Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou to pick up passengers. And then it left Hong Kong in early morning Wednesday with a total of 175 Mexican passengers.
Forty passengers boarded in Guangzhou. Six of them had had close contact with the confirmed Mexican case in Hong Kong. They had been held in quarantine in Guangzhou and Dongguan.
Eight quarantined Mexicans left from Beijing, and another two chose to stay for continuing medical observation.
