All passengers aboard last Thursday's flight from Mexico City to Shanghai have been located. Those still in China are now in quarantine. None of the passengers have been diagnosed with the new strain of flu, and none of them have any flu symptoms. Health authorities are strictly monitoring incoming tourists, especially people from Mexico.

On Monday, all quarantined passengers, crew and customs staff were reported to be in a good medical condition and none had symptoms of flu. But some did complain that life under quarantine can be rather dull and boring.

Doctors say if things go smoothly, the passengers can go home by the end of this week.

Li Jingyan, deputy head of Guangdong Quarantine Bureau, said, "Our staff test temperatures daily and check for the presence of the new influenza. We disinfect the living zone, control human contact, and also carefully handle the disposal of garbage. Meanwhile, we try to make room for entertainment and leisure activities to help the observation period easier to live with. "
