People flocked there to both present condolences to the victims of last year's earthquake and see if they can lend helping hands to the survivors who have been coping with their daily life there.
Hu, a grave keeper in the cemetery of Yingxiu, one of the worst-hit areas, revealed there were often over a thousand people going there to offer their condolences each day.
Moreover, tourists visited the locals in their shelters and were ready to provide necessary help. Some volunteers also gave a performance for the locals.
In Beichuan, another worst quake-hit area in Sichuan, the local government had to take measures to control the heavy coming-in traffic that carried a lot of those who came to pay respect to the dead and offer assistance to those survivers.
