Rescuers have found more bodies in a remote village in northeastern Philippines, where a landslide buried a dozen houses on Saturday. Volunteers and officials are conducting search and rescue operations in the area.

The storm caused several flash floods, destroying bridges and swamping main roads and motorways. Thousands of families were affected by the tropical storm. Nine evacuation centers are still open and are sheltering three thousand people.

Weather forecasters say the tropical storm is continuing to move away from the Philippines.
