UN calls for restraints in Nepal´s political developments

The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Nepal has urged all political parties to exercise restraint in response to the latest political developments in the country.'

In a statement, the UN office says organizers of rallies should ensure that participants act in a peaceful manner and within the law.
It calls on the police to prevent violence and respond with restraint and the minimum force required to maintain order, should it be necessary.
