Thailand to host ASEAN plus 3 meeting on new flu

ASEAN Plus Three includes 10 ASEAN member countries, China, Japan and South Korea. Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is confident that the meeting will strengthen regional defense against the new influenza and will also be an opportunity to show determination to fight the disease.
The Thai government has stocked up on anti-viral drugs and taken measures against the disease. But, Abhisit says people must wash their hands frequently and pay attention to personal hygiene.
