US President Barack Obama has marked his 100th day in office. He told the crowd at a town-hall style event in a Missouri suburb that he is pleased with the progress his administration has made... but "not satisfied".

Obama drew a standing ovation as he noted the anniversary. He countered critics who said he's taking on too much, as he works to turn around the recession while revamping energy, education and health care in the United States.
Obama said, "Now after 100 days I am pleased with the progress we have made. But I am not satisfied, I am confident in the future, but I am not content with the present." "So, today on my 100th day in office I've come back to report to you, the American people, that we've begun to pick ourselves up, and dust ourselves off and we've begun the work of remaking America."
