Suicide bombs kills at least 76 in Iraq

Two suicide bomb attacks have killed at least 76 people in Iraq.

One of the suicide bombers killed 48 people in a restaurant located in the volatile Diyala province.

The attack, 100 kilometers northeast of Baghdad, took place at lunch time when dozens of customers were in the restaurant. Many of the victims were Iranian pilgrims who had been visiting Iraqi Shiite holy sites.

In a separate incident, another suicide bomber struck a crowd in Baghdad, killing 28. Among the dead were policemen who were distributing aid to displaced families.
