Iran celebrates Army Day

Iran's leading political and military figures have attended a ceremony marking the National Army Day at the Mausoleum of the Founder.

In his speech, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad praised Iran's military achievements and the army's role in maintaining national security.

The celebrations included a march by the Military's aerial, ground, and naval forces and a display of their latest defense equipment. Iran celebrates Army Day every year on April 18th.
