On the eve of this year's Boao Forum for Asia, Chairman Fidel Ramos presided over its annual meeting of the Board of Directors and the General Meeting of Members.

Former Chinese Vice Premier, Zeng Peiyan, was elected vice chairman of the Board of Directors of the Boao Forum for Asia.
Zeng, who was approved at Thursday's board meeting, said he will do his best to help the forum become a world-class organization.
The General Meeting of Members, or GMM, is the ultimate authority of this premier non-governmental forum in Asia, and the Board of Directors is the supreme executive body of the GMM.
