A Foreign Ministry spokeswoman says China disapproves of any new UN resolution on the DPRK's recent rocket launch. And Jiang Yu adds that Beijing opposes any new sanction against Pyongyang.

A Foreign Ministry spokeswoman says China  disapproves of any new UN resolution on the  DPRK's recent rocket launch.

She also said China maintains that the reaction from the Security Council should be conducive to safeguarding peace and stability in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia.
