UN chief welcomes statement on DPRK launch

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has welcomed the statement, saying it sends a unified message by the international community.

Ban hopes the council's response will pave the way for renewed efforts towards the peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues in the region.
