BEIJING, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao returned home Saturday night, one day ahead of schedule, after the Thai government postponed the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) related summits.

Wen concluded the tour as the meetings in Thailand's Pattaya were postponed after thousands of anti-government protesters managed to take over the media center near the summit venue.

The Thai government postponed the summits scheduled for April 11 and 12 in view of Thailand's domestic situation, and would resume the summits at proper time in the future, said Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva in a telephone conversation with Wen.

Wen met with Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso and President of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Lee Myung-bak at Dusit Thani hotel in Pattaya earlier Saturday.

The postponed meetings included the 12th China-ASEAN Summit, the 12th summit between the ASEAN and China, Japan and the ROK, the 4th East Asia Summit, and China-Japan-ROK Breakfast Meeting.
