The number of mainland visitors to Taiwan has recently reached the daily limit of over four thousand three hundred. And the daily average of mainland tourists visiting the island increased by four percent in March.

The number of mainland visitors to Taiwan has recently  reached the daily limit of over four thousand three hundred.

To attract more mainland tourists, Taiwan tax authorities have removed limitations on the amount of cash mainland tourists are allowed to carry in.

Meanwhile, the first tour group of 40 people have departed from Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, for Taiwan. Guangxi is the latest region to get approval for tourist groups to travel to the island.
