AL rejects charges against Sudanese president

The Arab League has ended its summit in Doha with leaders jointly rejecting the arrest warrant for Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. The organization has also called for inter-Arab reconciliation and expressed support for the Middle East peace process.

The 21st Arab League summit ended in Doha on Monday ahead of schedule with Secretary General Amr Moussa delivering a final communique that formally rejects the international war crimes charges brought by the ICC against al-Bashir.
