The leading opposition party, Pheu Thai, filed the no-confidence motion on March 12th. Its accusations included malfeasance and Constitutional violations, and spending budgets inappropriately.

Another opposition party filed an impeachment motion against Abhisit on charges of corruption and constitutional violations to the Senate President. The House debate is scheduled from Thursday to Friday.

The no-confidence vote is to take place on Saturday.
