The Tibet Autonomous Regional People’s Political Consultative Conference held a symposium on Thursday afternoon to commemorate 50 years of emancipation from serfdom. But the current economic and social development of Tibet was also a major concern.

A forum to discuss the changes witnessed over the past 50 in Tibet also focused on the current development of the Region. The topic the participants care about the most is economic growth.
