EU FMs discuss Israel-Palestine talks

The European Union has raised concerns about Benjamin Netanyahu's attitude toward peace talks with Palestinians.

The EU's 27 foreign ministers met in Brussels, to discuss prospects for peace after the Israeli election, and ahead of a Palestinian donors conference planned for next week.

EU foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, says the European bloc will work with the new Israeli government.

Javier Solana, EU Foreign Policy Chief, said, "We are ready to cooperate with the government elected by the people and we will try very much to maintain the process the negotiation. I think the time of concentrating only on crisis management is over and we have to work on conflict resolution as soon as possible."
