Butter flowers are a traditional decoration for the New Year, and they're best-sellers at the market.
They embody blessings for the coming year. Barley Grass is also very popular. Tibetans say it represents good luck for the harvest in the coming year.
Losar is celebrated for 15 days, like the Chinese Lunar New Year, with the main celebrations on the first three days.
