The Foreign Ministry said denuclearization is an issue for the entire Korean Peninsula and not just the northern part of it.

The DPRK said the principle of "action for action" must be followed as far as the issue of verification is concerned suggesting that the absence of nuclear weapons in South Korea should also be verified.
