Palestinians are facing grimmer conditions after a UN aid agency halted work, saying its staff were at risk from Israeli forces fighting Hamas.
Palestinians reported some two dozen air strikes in Gaza on Thursday.
Gazan hospital officials and human rights workers have put the number of dead above 750 since Israel's military operations began two weeks ago.
10 Israeli soldiers have been reportedly killed so far.
For a second straight day, Israel suspended its Gaza military operation for three hours on Thursday to let in humanitarian supplies.
But shortly before the pause took effect, the UN said one of its aid trucks was struck by Israel. The driver died.
