It's freezing cold in the northeastern city of Harbin, where snow and ice have made white the dominant color. But many people are enjoying the subzero temperatures. Some have got married on ice, some have swum in bone-chilling rivers, and the annual ice sculpture festival is continuing.

Temperatures dropped to minus 20 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, but that didn't stop 22 couples saying "I do" to the love of life on a square of ice and snow.

Their love may be certain, but the couples need extra courage to get married in this harsh weather. At least the grooms are lucky enough to be wearing suits. The brides seemed to need a bit more to keep them warm.
